# Wolves: Fans gush over Max Kilman performance against Chelsea

**Many Wolves fans were delighted with Max Kilman after his side’s [0-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55728235) draw against Chelsea on Thursday night.**

It has been a [tricky period](https://www.wolves.co.uk/fixtures/first-team/) for the Black Country club – but an [impressive defensive display](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55728235) got them over the line in the capital and they left with a solid point.

Nuno’s side now face what some may see as a very winnable trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace this weekend, before things get tricky next week with home clashes against Arsenal and Leicester City.

Kilman was a key part to Wolves’ resolute nature on the night and the statistics that he generated back that up.

Per [Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/chelsea-wolverhampton/dsN), Kilman made six clearances, won all but one of his duels and only lost possession eight times

Unsurprisingly, supporters heavily praised the 23-year-old and made their feelings clear about him on social media, following up on their praise of captain [Conor Coady](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/wolves-news/wolves-fans-lavish-praise-on-conor-coady/), who put in a similar shift.
