# Wolves: Fans jubilant after sealing qualification for Europa League group stage

**Wolves can look forward to Europa League group stage football after getting the better of Torino in the play-off round last night.**

A [2-1 win](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49504849) for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team at Molineux completed a [5-3 aggregate triumph](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49504849) and the club’s official Twitter channel [@Wolves](https://twitter.com/Wolves/status/1167175046533734401) toasted their progression afterwards.

> Our European journey continues as tonight’s result means Wolves qualify for the [@EuropaLeague](https://twitter.com/EuropaLeague?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) group stages!

Wolves [now join fellow Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester United](https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/news/newsid=2606533.html?iv=true) in the group stage of the Europa League after [coming through three rounds of qualifying](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/spielplan/verein/543) to get this far.

Their continental campaign began in July with a [2-0 home win over Crusaders](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49098383), whom they [beat 4-1 in the return leg in Northern Ireland](https://www.skysports.com/football/crusaders-vs-wolves/416068).

Wolves then cruised past FC Pyunik of Armenia, [winning both legs 4-0](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49350263) to set up a play-off clash against Torino.

Nuno’s men took a huge step towards group stage qualification with last week’s [3-2 win away to the Serie A side](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49428424) and then finished the job with [victory at Molineux last night](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49504849), ensuring that they go into the group stage having won all six of their qualifying matches.

Prior to this year, Wolves had not played in European competition for almost four decades, their last continental participation [coming in the UEFA Cup as far back as 1980](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/pokalhistorie/verein/543).

These Wolves fans were understandably gleeful at reaching the Europa League group stage:
