# Wolves: Fans look back at Ruben Neves’ incredible assist versus Leicester City

**Loads of Wolves fans have been looking back at Ruben Neves’ incredible assist against upcoming opponents Leicester City last season.**

Deep from his own half, the Portuguese playmaker got the ball under control after a Leicester attack before pinging it to Diogo Jota. His compatriot then calmly dispatched as Nuno Espirito Santo’s men went on to win 4-3 in an exciting encounter at Molineux.

Wolves supporters will be hoping for more of the same from Neves on Friday, with the 22-year-old undoubtedly having that long-range pass in his locker. As stats on WhoScored show, it was not a one off as he continues to execute such balls.

Averaging [5.1](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/161/Show/England-Wolverhampton-Wanderers) accurate long balls per game in the Premier League this season, the third-highest average in Wolves’ squad, Neves’ passing range is just one of the many tools at his disposal.
