[Wolves.co.uk](https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/club/20191009-uefa-make-final-decision-on-bratislava-tie/) reported that UEFA have ordered the match to be played behind closed doors after some Slovan Bratislava supporters were involved in numerous incidents during their play-off clash against PAOK FC, with an appeal by the Slovak club to have the punishment overturned proving unsuccessful.

[UEFA.com](https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/disciplinary/) noted that Slovan Bratislava have been fined a total of €91,750 (£82,576) for a series of offences, including racist behaviour of supporters, blocking of stairways, throwing of objects, invading the pitch and insufficient organisation.

Wolves supporters who made the trip to Turkey for their previous Europa League away game against Besiktas enjoyed a memorable 1-o win courtesy of [Willy Boly’s stoppage time goal](https://www.skysports.com/football/besiktas-vs-wolves/420466), but they will have to wait until [November’s visit to Braga](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/spielplan/verein/543) for their next European away day after UEFA’s decision on the game in Bratislava, one which has been lamented by these Wolves fans on Twitter:

> Dont allow their fans to molineux for the reverse leg.

> Are they banned from Molineux for the home leg also?

> This is a farce. Both legs should be played at Molineux with no away ticket allocation.

> Ridiculous. Not our club’s fault, not our team’s fault, not our fan’s fault. If they want to punish a club, then forfeit the points would be realistic.
