# Wolves: Fans react to Adama Traore exit report

**Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore is on Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer shortlist this summer, according to a report from the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9849839/New-Tottenham-boss-Nuno-Esp-rito-Santo-set-raid-former-club-Wolves-winger-Adama-Traore.html).**

Spurs are, of course, now managed by former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

They’ve yet to make ‘official contact’ with the Midlands outfit but are said to be weighing up a move.

Wolves, for their part, are ‘open’ to letting Spain international Traore leave.

However, they have slapped a £45million price tag on the 25-year-old, who has [two years left](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adama-traore/profil/spieler/204103) on his contract. They see similarities with Diogo Jota’s move to Liverpool last summer.

Another of Traore’s potential suitors, Leeds United, apparently have alternative targets in mind.

### How has Wolves star Traore performed recently?

He scored three goals and provided two assists in [46 appearances](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/140088/Show/Adama-Traor%C3%A9) last season, a considerable slump after registering [18 goal contributions](https://www.transfermarkt.com/adama-traore/leistungsdaten/spieler/204103/saison/2019#gesamt) in 2019/20.

However, Traore did top the Premier League for successful dribbles per 90 minutes with 4.1, edging Newcastle United’s Allan Saint-Maximin (via [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/252/Tournaments/2/Seasons/8228/Stages/18685/PlayerStatistics/England-Premier-League-2020-2021)).

Twitter fan feed [Talking Wolves](https://twitter.com/TalkingWolves/status/1421873594104172544) relayed the news, and here’s how supporters reacted, with one fan encouraging the club to build the squad around the winger.
