# Wolves: Fans show their appreciation for Ivan Cavaleiro following Fulham move

**Loads of Wolves fans have been showing their appreciation for Ivan Cavaleiro following his permanent transfer to Fulham.**

The 26-year-old initially arrived at the west London club on loan last summer, but he has now joined on a permanent basis for an [undisclosed fee](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51023401) after making a big impact in the current Championship campaign.

He has scored [five](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-cavaleiro/leistungsdaten/spieler/149716/plus/0?saison=2019) goals and provided six assists in 25 second division outings, making Fulham’s decision to buy him outright an unsurprising one.

Cavaleiro made little impact for Wolves last season, making just [six](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-cavaleiro/leistungsdaten/spieler/149716/plus/0?saison=2018) Premier League starts under Nuno Espirito Santo. However, he did play a huge role in the Midlands club winning promotion the campaign prior after being directly involved in [21](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-cavaleiro/leistungsdaten/spieler/149716/plus/0?saison=2017) goals.

Clearly still grateful for that, plenty of Wolves fans took to Twitter to thank the Portuguese winger for everything he has done.

You can have a look at what they had to say below…

> Shame that he is going cause he was a great player for us. To me it shows the direction we are going when we are allowing these kinds of players to leave. Thanks for the years cav!
