The Portuguese tactician [placed his faith](https://www.fotmob.com/livescores/3411586/lineup/southampton-vs-wolverhampton-wanderers) in Moutinho once more but found himself giving the ball away during their attacking phases of play.

Supporters were keen to see the 34-year-old [dropped](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/wolves-news/wolves-fans-urge-nuno-to-drop-joao-moutinho-against-leicester/) earlier in the month after their [0-0](https://www.fotmob.com/livescores/3411578/matchfacts/wolverhampton-wanderers-vs-leicester-city) draw against East Midlands neighbours Leicester City.
