# Wolves: Fans were glad to see Max Kilman in the starting XI for Sheffield United game

**Wolves missed the chance to apply real pressure on fourth-placed Chelsea over the weekend following their 1-1 draw against Sheffield United.**

Nevertheless, Sunday afternoon was still a positive one for defender Max Kilman, while Wolves will still be pleased to have earned a point after going 1-0 down to Chris Wilder’s side.

The 22-year-old was making his first Premier League start for the Molineux outfit and did not disappoint.

In the Premier League encounter, according to [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376053/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Wolverhampton-Wanderers-Sheffield-United), Kilman managed to win an impressive seven aerial duels — more than any other player on the pitch.

Indeed, the Englishman justified Nuno Espirito Santo’s decision to bring him into the side and now looks a viable option, especially with Willy Boly out injured.

Wolves next take on a West Ham side who are coming off an impressive victory against Chelsea as they look to continue fighting for a European spot.

You can have a look at what Wolves fans had to say about Kilman’s recent inclusion below…

> Kilman is a very worthy and capable stand in… Anyone saying otherwise has no idea
