Transfer expert Dean Jones claims that Wolves would have a 'massive' January window if they are able to bring in Matheus Cunha, Felipe and Marcos Acuna.

The Lowdown: Three new signings?

As per Italian journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Molineux outfit are currently in talks with Atletico Madrid over bringing both Cunha and Felipe to the club in January.

The Sun also reported earlier this month that Julen Lopetegui's side are favourites to swoop for Sevilla and Argentina left-back Acuna, so there is a possibility that they can make a triple addition once the winter window comes along.

The Latest: 'Massive' window

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Jones has claimed that if all three were to come through the door in the Midlands, then it would be a 'massive' window and a 'big' signal of intent from the Old Gold:

“If those three landed, it would be a massive window and a big signal of intent in terms of the direction of the club.

“It would also change the dynamic and probably the mindset of the squad, which ultimately are all the ingredients you need when you’re trying to claw your way out of the bottom three.

“They need a fast turnaround, they’re confident they will get it. But for that to happen, you need a spark that usually comes from new signings.”

The Verdict: Exciting

The fact that they have been linked with three quality signings in January will be exciting for Wanderers supporters.

Felipe is a La Liga title winner with Atletico, while Cunha has played over 50 times for the Spanish giants, including in the UEFA Champions League.

Meanwhile, Acuna has played five times for Argentina on their way to reaching the final of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and would add more valuable experience to the Wolves squad.

Nonetheless, signing all three gives them a real chance of staying up in the Premier League.
