Dean Windass reckons that Ruben Neves could follow Nuno Espirito to Everton should the Portuguese become the new Toffees manager.
Neves was an influential part of the Wolves side that went from the Championship to consecutive seventh place finishes and the Europe League quarter-finals.
Who would be better for Wolves?
However, The Athletic revealed last month that the Midlands outfit are looking to cash-in on the midfielder this month for around £35m.
But with his former manager Santo currently in talks about the vacant position at Everton, it opens the door for some of his Wolves players to join him on Merseyside.
And Windass believes that Neves could be the first of those should Santo be chosen to replace Carlo Ancelotti at Goodison Park.
He told The Transfer Tavern:
“If Nuno gets the Everton job, could he entice him to go to Everton?
“Great footballer, technically very good, but if he does get the job, he could leave.”
