Galatasaray are reportedly 'interested' in signing Adama Traore from Wolves before Turkey's transfer deadline.

The Lowdown: Out of favour

Traore has fallen out of favour under Bruno Lage, playing just 28 times since the start of last season, and only completing the full 90 minutes on five separate occasions (Transfermarkt).

He was shipped out on loan to FC Barcelona in the January transfer window, and has not been able to wrestle a starting place back since returning.

The Latest: Galatasaray interest

As per Fanatik journalist Yakup Cinar, 22-times Turkish league champions Galatasaray are 'interested' in signing either Traore or Anthony Martial from Manchester United before their deadline on Thursday evening:

"Galatasaray is interested in Anthony Martial of Manchester United and Adama Traore of Wolves. Galatasaray wants to add one of these two players to its squad."

The Verdict: Sell

Given his lack of game time, it may now be the time to sell Traore.

At 26 years of age, the Molineux outfit could still get a good price for him, and there are currently no signs of him signing a new deal before his current one expires in 2023.

His end product has simply not developed, with just 12 goals and 18 assists in 159 games in total over all competitions across the last five seasons (Transfermarkt)

With the likes of Goncalo Guedes and Sasa Kalajdzic brought in as attacking options in the summer window, the Spain international should now be deemed surplus to requirements in the Midlands.
