Many Wolves fans have been left raging as an official post from the Midlands club emerged.

As per the official website of the Molineux faithful, their Boxing Day fixture against Watford has now been postponed after a request from the visitors was accepted by the Premier League.

They have an insufficient number of players that they can field due to rising cases of Covid-19 in the camp, and the decision has now been taken after guidance from medical advisors.

The game was originally set to take place at 12:30pm, but has been postponed early in order to give sufficient notice to supporters of both teams who were looking to go.

Of course, with Boxing Day matches such a tradition in English football, it is frustrating for WWFC fans to not be able to go or watch the clash, and they will now be hoping that the virus does not spread into their camp for future fixtures.
