Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were frustrated with right-back Rayan Ait Nouri during his side’s Premier League tie away at Chelsea on Wednesday night.
The 19-year-old has been at the club since the summer after completing his loan move from Ligue 1 club Angers – but has struggled to impose himself within the physical nature of the Premier League.
Before the game, Ait Nouri had averaged a match rating of just 6.53 from seven starts and three outings from the bench, never returning to the heights of his debut against Crystal Palace back in October (Whoscored).
Ait Nouri found himself undone by his opposite number Callum Hudson-Odoi on several occasions in the first half on Wednesday, getting beaten to the by-line often and losing out in the one-on-one duels with the Chelsea winger.
Should Rayan Ait-Nouri be dropped?
This is not the first time that the young Frenchman has been targeted, as yet again, supporters took to social media to voice their displeasure towards him.
