Many Wolves fans were delighted with Max Kilman after his side’s 0-0 draw against Chelsea on Thursday night.
Nuno’s side now face what some may see as a very winnable trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace this weekend, before things get tricky next week with home clashes against Arsenal and Leicester City.
Kilman was a key part to Wolves’ resolute nature on the night and the statistics that he generated back that up.
Per Sofascore, Kilman made six clearances, won all but one of his duels and only lost possession eight times
Should Max Kilman be an automatic starter for Wolves?
Unsurprisingly, supporters heavily praised the 23-year-old and made their feelings clear about him on social media, following up on their praise of captain Conor Coady, who put in a similar shift.
“Kilman has never let us down….don’t know why he was dropped”
“Boly, Coady, Kilman, all outstanding”
“Said it before it was popular super Max Kilman”
“Max Kilman was immense tonight. Man of the match in my opinion.”
“Max Kilman = clean sheets”
“Dendonker and Kilman have been outstanding tonight.”
