Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Bruno Lage has confirmed that Willy Boly and Daniel Podence have returned to training (via Express and Star).
Wolves face Nottingham Forest in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, only two days on from their last outing against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Why have Wolves been missing Boly and Podence?
Boly has been out with a hamstring strain, while Podence has undergone surgery on a groin issue (via Premier Injuries).
It’s actually been a tricky year for both players fitness-wise. The former was sidelined at three separate intervals last season, limiting him to 23 appearances in all competitions.
Wolves remain without Jonny Castro Otto and Pedro Neto long-term.
