Wolves youngster Morgan Gibbs-White is reportedly being eyed up by several English clubs ahead of a potential summer exit from Molineux.

The Lowdown: Gibbs-White out on loan

The midfielder was clearly not deemed a key man by Bruno Lage last summer, with the Wanderers manager allowing him to join Sheffield United on loan.

Gibbs-Whites has been a key player for the promotion-chasing Blades, however, enjoying 15 goal contributions in the Championship - eight goals and seven assists - and starting 22 games in the competition.

The young Englishman will return to Wolves at the end of the season but strong interest has emerged regarding his signature.

The Latest: Youngster linked with exit

According to TEAMtalk, as many as four English teams are keen on a move for Gibbs-Whites this summer, with Leeds United, Crystal Palace, Southampton and Fulham the clubs in question.

The Wolves man's current deal at Molineux runs until the summer of 2024, so any interested parties are unlikely to be able to sign him on the cheap.

The Verdict: Keep hold of him

While Gibbs-White was shipped out on loan last summer, his performances for United are proof that he is worth persevering with moving forward.

Granted, the step up in quality to the Premier League is great but he is thriving in a tough division and showing exactly the level of creativity and goal threat he could add to Wolves' midfield.

At times, the likes of Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho can feel a little similar, sitting deep and dictating play, but Gibbs-White could be the sprinkling of unpredictability on top, adding more end product from the middle.

Chris Basham has lauded the manner in which his Blades teammate 'glides past players' and he should only become more formidable in the coming years.
