Many fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relayed a report touting Wolves as a potential destination for Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

According to reports from Spain (via Daily Express), Ronaldo could be set to leave Juventus this summer and is thought to be open to a return to Premier League football, with Wolves reportedly "in the frame" to land the 36-year-old in what would be, in the words of one supporter, an "unreal" development.

It is then claimed that a move could be facilitated by the Portuguese international's agent Jorge Mendes, with whom Wolves often utilise in their transfer dealings, with the Daily Express going on to suggest that Ronaldo "could be the next" Mendes client to make the move to Molineux.

After Talking Wolves shared the report on Twitter, many fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with plenty stating that the Midlands outfit should do everything in their power to land the £45m-rated forward this summer.

"It's quite possible, especially with the FFP rules being relaxed. It's something I could see Fosun doing as a commercial exercise."
