Wolverhampton Wanderers chief scout Ben Wigglesworth is right to recommend Emmanuel Boateng as Kickgh have reported that the West Midlands club are considering a summer move when the transfer window opens.

As per the outlet, Wolves have contacted Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv to enquire about the availability of the midfield enforcer.

Wigglesworth, who previously worked with Arsenal and Leicester City, recommended the former Aduana Stars central midfield player to the technical staff of Wolves. The chief scout is widely regarded as playing a key role in the signings of both Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante when he was at Leicester, with both players now at Manchester City and Chelsea respectively. As per Kickgh, Nuno Espirito Santo's team are expected to sign Boateng but then potentially loan him out due to working permit issues in England which requires him to feature in matches for his country. Kickgh also understands that Boateng has attracted interest from clubs in Belgium, Denmark and Italy.

The Ghanaian has not yet made his senior international debut but is a product of Ghana Premier League side West African Football Academy and he has featured in 23 games in all competitions so far in the 2019/20 season, scoring one goal, according to Transfermarkt.

The 22-year old could prove to be a valuable squad member for the next campaign if the likes of Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho find themselves injured or possibly out of form in midfield.

However, with the apparent competition for his signature, Wolves may need to act fast if they are to sign the ace recommended by Wigglesworth, who has a proven track record of top quality signings during his time at Leicester.
