Wolves fans rejoiced as their club unveiled the signing of left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri from the French side Angers SCO.
The France U21 international completed his move across the English channel into the West Midlands on a season-long loan with an option to make the switch permanent.
The club revealed Ait-Nouri on Sunday evening, hours after his new side’s 1-0 victory against Fulham at the Molineux. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed after the final whistle that Ruben Vinagre would be leaving the club to make way for the youngster.
Ait-Nouri arrives at Wolves having provided four assists from 23 appearances for Angers, which has helped him progress up three levels of the France youth programme, as per TransferMarkt.
Will Rayan Ait-Nouri be a success for Wolves?
Understandably, supporters were overjoyed with the announcement from the club and welcomed the young defender into the Molineux with open arms, as you can see below.
