Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Patrick Cutrone has been linked with a move to Parma, according to reports.
Cutrone heading back to Italy?
He added that Wolves are waiting on other market moves. While cryptic, it may suggest that the Black Country club could be looking to bring in a fresh face themselves before allowing Cutrone to potentially leave.
Cutrone was recently recalled from his loan spell at Fiorentina following the severe injury to star forward Raul Jimenez, who suffered a fractured skull during his side’s 2-1 victory over Arsenal at the end of November.
Transfer Tavern Verdict
This season has not gone the way that Nuno would have been hoping as scoring goals has proven to be a significant problem for Wolves since the loss of Jimenez.
After Cutrone’s disappointing period back in Serie A, it could be the best move for both parties if he was to leave the club – but only on the basis that Nuno finds a striker this month before letting him go.
Time will tell if Wolves bolster their options in January, or whether they will wait until Jimenez’s return and keep Cutrone at the club.
