Wolves: Steve Bull not impressed with Pedro Neto valuation

Wolves: Steve Bull not impressed with Pedro Neto valuation - Premier League

Wolves legend Steve Bull has been left unimpressed with Manchester United’s valuation of Pedro Neto.

The Portuguese forward has been one of the shining lights for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team this season in what has been a largely disappointing campaign for the Midlands outfit.

Neto has chipped in with five goals and five assists in the Premier League, and at just 21, he appears a footballer of incredible potential.

Bulls laughs off Neto valuation

United have been linked with a £50m move for the Wolves star ahead of a potential summer move, but someone who isn’t impressed with that figure is Bull.

Speaking to Football FanCast, the club legend suggested that Neto should be valued far higher, such is his influence at Molineux currently:

“Is that it? Is that all? Oh man, he is a talented player and I have my fingers crossed that he’s not going anywhere because he’s a big asset to this club.

“When we get firing on all cylinders again next year, we’ll be a force to be reckoned with again.”

Transfer Tavern take

Neto looks a special young talent and his performances this season suggest that more than £50m will be needed to prise him away.

Having already lost Diogo Jota to one of the country’s biggest clubs last year, Wolves don’t want the same happening to arguably their most prized current asset this time around.

Neto’s current contract doesn’t expire until the summer of 2025, so at least the Molineux outfit are in a healthy situation in terms of demanding a huge fee for his signature.

In other news, a Wolves legend has urged the club to re-sign one former hero this summer. Find out who it is here.
