# ‘Wrap it up already’ – Arsenal fans demand swift signing of Sanchez replacement on Twitter

**The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for a swift resolution to the Alexis Sanchez transfer saga.**

The resident Gunners in the tavern are growing tired of hearing reports concerning Sanchez’s future at Arsenal, and they are eager for a deal to be wrapped up by the end of the week. Sanchez’s departure will undoubtedly be a major blow to Arsenal’s diminishing Champions League hopes, and if they fail to sign a replacement for the Chile international they will almost certainly be forced to settle for a Europa League place this season.

Plenty of Arsenal supporters on Twitter have been eager to discuss a number of potential replacements for Sanchez this month based on reports in the British media.

And the [latest report](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5271371/Arsenal-set-make-Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang.html#ixzz54ISqNIAx) to emerge from *[The Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5271371/Arsenal-set-make-Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang.html#ixzz54ISqNIAx)* concerns Borussia Dortmund talisman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is supposedly a [£53 million](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5271371/Arsenal-set-make-Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang.html#ixzz54ISqNIAx) target for The Gunners this month.

Although Aubameyang is a different type of player to Sanchez and doesn’t represent a like for like replacement, the Arsenal supporters are firmly backing Arsene Wenger to make a move for his services by the end of the month.

Considering Aubameyang has already scored 21 goals from his opening 23 matches in all-competitions for the German giants, it is easy to understand why the majority of supporters are so enthusiastic about a potential deal.

Here’s what the Arsenal fans had to say about the potential of signing Aubameyang this month…
