Manchester United ginger ninja Wes Brown may have been nursing an injury or two the past few years. But at least he has the loveliest of Nurses to look after him. The one and only Leanne Wassell.
Whilst Wes Brown has been idly winning trophy after trophy at Manchester United despite little game time, his now wife Leanne Wassell has been keeping out of the limelight so to speak. At 32 years of age the WAG does her bit for charity events involving the club and outside of Old Trafford, mainly in fashion. What a surprise.
The couple were married in the summer of 2009 in a wedding that was described by numerous onlookers as ‘Real Footballers’ Wives stuff’ So much for keeping out the limelight then. All the rest of the WAG community were there including Wayne Rooney and the ever delightful Coleen. The Manchester United star even organised an Owl to swoop down with the wedding rings to land on the best man’s shoulder. Get me a bucket. Now. The couple have two young daughters called Halle and Lilia and met several years ago when Leanne moved from her family home in Cumbria to Manchester to train as a beautician.
So at least Wes Brown can looks his best when he has another two month layoff and a doctor’s note for big boss Sir Alex. As Leanne Wassell clearly has not used her beautician training ever, it could be time for her to test out her mad skills on Wes. She can even get a Pigeon to swoop down with some lipstick. Marvellous.
