Liverpool supporters in the Transfer Tavern are hopeful that Jurgen Klopp will conclude deals for more reinforcements before the conclusion of the summer transfer window.

The Reds have been fairly active in the transfer window so far, securing the services of three new players. Club record signing Mohammed Salah has been accompanied by Dominic Solanke and left-back Andrew Robertson.

While these transfers have certainly strengthened Liverpool’s squad, their 3-3 draw with Watford on the opening day of the new season serves as an indicator that their team requires more additions before the window closes in two weeks’ time.  Jurgen Klopp’s pursuit of a central midfielder has been common knowledge for most of the summer period and having missed out on the signing of Naby Keita; it is likely that the German will be eager to target another midfielder. Subsequently, our landlord has highlighted two loan deals that Liverpool should explore.

Julian Draxler

Despite having signed for Paris Saint-Germain in January, it is reported that Julian Draxler is no longer required at the French club. The 23-year-old scored ten goals in 25 appearances and is lauded as one of Germany’s most promising players. He can operate in any attacking position in the midfield and is regarded for his great technique and superb dribbling ability.

Grzegorz Krychowiak

Additionally, PSG is keen to discard another midfielder, Poland’s Grzegorz Krychowiak who was signed from Sevilla last season. The 27-year-old operates as a defensive midfielder; he can also function as a centre-half. He’s proficient while fulfilling his defensive duties, and he’s renowned for his impressive tackling and blocking ability.
