It seems our resident Spurs are finally about to be treated to a new signing at the club.
Mauricio Pochettino side has sealed a deal to sign Ajax defender Davinson Sanchez, with a move confirmed by the Lilywhites over the weekend pending the final details. It’s exciting news for Spurs fans who have been waiting patiently for their first arrival to be welcomed to Wembley, their temporary home.
The Tottenham faithful are pleased to see some movement in the transfer window, but believe the club still has work to do.
They lack the depth of some of the other Premier League sides, and so recruitments are needed. But with the market continuing to demand vast sums for mediocre players, perhaps the Lilywhites could look to utilise the loan system instead.
We’ve picked out TWO clever loan deals Pochettino should look into ASAP…
MAMADOU SAKHO

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp seemingly wants nothing to do with the Frenchman following their falling out last summer.
After spending the first half of last season training with the youth side, Sakho did prove his quality in a successful loan spell at Crystal Palace.
The 27-year-old, who is reportedly being hunted by West Brom, could be valuable as a squad player for Spurs this season.
DENIS SUAREZ

The Barcelona man struggled for regular game time last season and could be available for transfer this summer. The Catalan side have just added former Spurs man Paulinho to their ranks and Suarez’s future at the club looks bleak.
With the midfielder unproven, buying him outright would be risky a move for Spurs. A loan move with an option to buy would make more business sense.
