The Hammers have really turned their season on its head and are finally kicking on, like many here at the Transfer Tavern had expected them to do so…

But even with the rise for West Ham, it’s still been the case that some players just simply haven’t made the grade and most of the faithful will be hoping they leave the club this summer.

Last summer the club made some silly signings that just simply haven’t worked out and it saw Zaza leave the club in January after they cancelled his loan from Juventus.

It’s highly likely that West Ham won’t be acting on Tore or Calleri’s loan deals and that they will return to their respective parent clubs.

However, the West Ham fans here will be hoping that they aren’t the only departures from the club.

With that in mind, these TWO West Ham players are ones that fans surely cannot wait to see axed in the summer…

ENNER VALENCIA

Although currently on loan with Everton, the Ecuadorean will be returning to West Ham this summer… hopefully with a swift kick back out the club.

Most Hammers fans were delighted when he left the club on loan, having not really much of an impression in the past two seasons and he just lacks the effort and desire needed to succeed at the club.

One the fans can’t wait to see axed permanently from the club.

ALVARO ARBELOA

This one will split the punters at the bar, as yes he’s not played but equally some would love to see the World Cup and Champions League winner feature more for the East Londoners.

He’s a favourite among some of the fans after spending time in the pub with them when he wasn’t in the match-day squad.

But for his sake and the club getting his wages to spend elsewhere, we feel that the punters will want to see him leave the club.
