Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are still hoping they can land Juventus striker Alvaro Morata despite news in the Daily Express which suggests that Real Madrid may look to re-sign the Spanish youngster.
It is looking as though the Red Devils are set to miss out on another transfer target as it has emerged that Los Blancos may opt to activate a buy-back option which was placed in the deal when they sold Morata to Juve.
The price that Madrid would have to pay should they choose to buy him back would be around £25 million but although that may seem expensive, they sold him to the Serie A champions for fee around £20 million.
There has been a lot of attention surrounding the tall striker who came through the youth ranks at the Bernabeu and Manchester United will hope that a similar situation with Paul Pogba happens, but in reverse.
Our resident Red Devils fans are hoping that Morata feels bitter towards Los Blancos for neglecting him in the first place, thus the player opting for an alternative switch to the Bernabeu to show them what they are missing out on.
