These are very scary times for the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern.
Indeed, our resident Reds are counting down the minutes until the transfer window shuts and they fear their hearts can’t take many more suggestions star man Philippe Coutinho could leave this summer.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that the brilliant Brazilian has been the subject of multiple bids from Barcelona this summer, though the Merseyside giants seem to be adamant they won’t sell.
While the club’s policy has been celebrated by our local Kopites, an update from La Liga expert Guillem Balague has once again concerned them.

He’s revealed on Twitter that the 25-year-old ASKED the Blaugrana to make their most recent offer despite the fact the La Liga giants are aware Liverpool won’t be selling.
Barcelona reportedly do not want to upset the Selecao samba star in case they make another move in the future, with a deal to take him to the Camp Nou looking increasingly unlikely.
Still, for a player who quite obviously wants to leave, Liverpool fans aren’t quite celebrating just yet.
Landlord’s Verdict:
Liverpool simply cannot sell the former Inter Milan playmaker now. It’s just too late.
Keeping him another year and selling him next summer – even at a lower price – is a much better outcome at Anfield.
Thoughts?
