Chelsea are very much in charge at the moment in the Premier League, but with Arsenal and Liverpool sniffing around, games like the one this weekend are must-win.
Their next opposition is Crystal Palace, who have been having a mixed time of it in the top flight so far this season.
And, with the prospect of Chelsea this weekend, things don’t seem to be getting any easier for the Eagles anytime soon.
For the Blues, consistency in team selection has been the key for Antonio Conte so far this season which our landlord feels will remain the biggest asset in Chelsea’s title push, similar to that of Leicester’s philosophy last term.
The Blues will be looking to really stretch their lead over the chasing pack as we head into the hectic Christmas period.
So, with that all in mind, then, we feel that if Conte fields this Chelsea XI they will surely demolish Crystal Palace…
GK: Thibaut Courtois

The in-form goalkeeper is the only player who has a chance to be number 1 – this is an easy choice!
CB: David Luiz

The Brazilian has been superb since coming back to the Blues and has become a player you just can’t not pick in the team.
Coming back with more experience has really done Luiz the world of good and proven many critics of the transfer wrong.
CB: Gary Cahill

The current captain of this in-form Chelsea side with the absence of Mr. Chelsea, John Terry.
Big boots to fill but you have to say he’s done a pretty decent job so far.
CB: Cesar Azpilicueta

The Spanish player is playing in a much different position than he has ever in his career but has adapted brilliantly.
Although playing centre-back with Victor Moses playing in front, Azpilicueta does often drift into his favoured full-back position to give the Blues more width.
RWB: Victor Moses

Moses defines the changes made under the Italian Conte.
A player whose career looked over at Chelsea; only to become one of their most valuable players in this title bidding season.
LWB: Marcos Alonso

When Chelsea signed the former Bolton loanee, it surprised a number of punters here in that not many thought he had much to offer based on his time with the Trotters.
But the versatile Spaniard has been superb for the Blues and could be key in their bid for the title.
CM: N’Golo Kante

Not much more can be said about the importance of the French international than has already been said!
He helped Leicester win the league last season and very possibly could help Chelsea win it this time.
CM: Cesc Fabregas

The Spaniard is back in the fold and has proven himself more than capable to play for Conte’s men.
He’s scored and set up goals on his recent return to the side and you wouldn’t put it past him again this weekend.
LF: Eden Hazard

The best player in the side on his day and will be key in any kind of title bid from the Blues.
This is the type of game that Hazard really shows his dominance and his prowess as long as he is fit, if not – Willian will come in.
RF: Pedro

Pedro has impressed hugely recently and will start again.
All he needs to do now is add more goals to his game and he’ll be back to his old Barcelona days.
ST: Diego Costa

What a player this guy has been for his side this season!
His newest gaffer Conte seems to have been able to get the best out of him and also ensure he has gotten rid of all the silly things he used to on do the pitch.
