The drama of the FA Cup is back, and our landlord at the Transfer Tavern cannot wait for the magic of it to un-fold this weekend!
League One side Peterborough take on the top dogs in the Premier League Chelsea on Sunday.
Chelsea have been un-stoppable this season and look the real deal under Antonio Conte, and as a successful player and manager there is no way he’ll take a competition like the FA Cup lightly.
The Blues face a Peterborough United team that hasn’t been having much luck, but with it being the FA Cup, shocks do tend to happen and the South Londoners know it oh to well, after a cup exit at the hands of Bradford City only a couple of seasons ago.
The same season they went on to win the title!
With that in mind if Conte fields this Chelsea eleven then he’ll be sure to avoid any kind of upset at the hands of Peterborough United…..
GK: ASMIR BEGOVIC

With games coming thick and fast, it is good to have quality and depth and there is no denying that Chelsea have just that!
When you have a keeper of Begovic’s quality on the bench, you’ll always be fine and he needs some time on the pitch, and the cup is a way that Conte can do that.
CB: GARY CAHILL

Although we expect a number of changes to the side from Conte, it’s very likely that his captain Gary Cahill will keep his place and help lead out from the back.
CB: KURT ZOUMA

It’s been a while since he has featured in the first team and this could be an opportune time to bring the French 22-year-old centre-back into the fold, and break him back into the first team set-up.
CB: DAVID LUIZ

The Brazilian has been a revelation since his return to Chelsea in the summer, and he has been vital in the way that Chelsea have been playing this season, he will be one of a few first team regulars who’ll likely feature in this fixture.
LWB: OLA AINA

The English youngster has featured in cup competition and from the bench in the league this season, and he looks very good for his age – and the cup could be where he really gets his opportunities this season.
RWB: VICTOR MOSES

Moses has gone from a Chelsea outcast to a brilliant player for the blues this season, and he’s been a player like Luiz who has been vital in the change in style that Conte has put in place this season.
He has to start, even Ivanovic will struggle to keep up with the pace of Lopes and Anderson of the Posh.
CDM: NATHANIEL CHALOBAH

Having featured in the league this season as well as the league cup earlier on in the season, it is easy to see why Conte may opt to play Chalobah in a cup competition, allowing Kante and Matic to rest up for an important title surge.
CDM: CESC FABREGAS

Featuring on and off in the league, it’s been suggested that the former Arsenal man may not be happy with his lack of minutes this season so far.
A game like this will really give him a chance to prove his worth to the gaffer and get more opportunities in the league.
LW: WILLIAN

The player of the year last season for Chelsea, this year he like Fabregas has found his time of the field limited by the players in his position playing superbly, although when he has featured he has been superb for Chelsea
This is a game he’ll look to impress Conte in.
ST: MICHY BATSHUAYI

A player who many were excited by when he first arrived in England, but due to the fine form of Diego Costa, he has found his time limited.
But this competition could really give him the chance to show the club and the fans what exactly he can do.
Also giving Costa a well earned rest.
RW: PEDRO

Another player who has come good under Conte, having been under performing since arriving from Barcelona last season.
In order for him to keep that momentum going, he needs to try and get as many minutes as he can, and continue to perform.
