Chelsea supporters in the Transfer Tavern are getting to grips as Antonio Conte starts to find a consistent XI.

After what was a summer full of recruiting for Antonio Conte as he looks to compete with signings made at title competitors Manchester City and United, it looked as if he had strengthened in all the right areas as they look to push for a repeat of last season.

Many punters here in the Tavern believe that after Premier League glory last season, with them not qualifying for the Champions League the previous season that allowed them an extra focus on the Premier League. So with this in mind, strength in depth and added quality is a must in order to compete with Europe’s best.

Additions such as; Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater to the midfield ranks has enabled for a real strength in depth to take some added weight of the forever energized N’Golo Kante and the passing maestro Cesc Fabregas. Along with the Tavern’s new favourite £70 million-rated man, Alvaro Morata, who looks to fill the shooting boots of the forever reliable Diego Costa. The last couple of additions made to sure up the back line were Antonio Rudiger and Davide Zappacosta as the Blues look to really push for glory once again this season.

With all signings having been made the Stamford Bridge locals here at the Tavern are feeling optimistic after a great start to the Champions League competition with 2 wins from 2 games, but have slipped to a measly 4th in the Premier League after a sluggish start to the season.

Here is what has to be Conte’s best starting line up right now…

GK: Thibaut Courtouis

The Belgian Gloveman has grown to be one of the most superior shot-stoppers in world football as he consistently performs for the London based side.

With aspirations of Champions League glory and a much-needed improvement in the Premier League, they’ll be relying on this man to step up his game.

RWB: Victor Moses

Many believed the Chelsea paceman would become out of favor with the recent signing of Italian Zappacosta but the Nigerian international really seems to have stepped up his game in recent matches with the added competition.

He offers electrifying pace going forward, solidity going backwards and a surprisingly accurate avenue into the box, which in my mind gets him that place in the starting XI.

CB: Cesar Azpilicueta

One of the most underrated and experienced centre-backs in the Premier League, he offers Chelsea speed and defensive solidity in abundance along with key leadership qualities.

With the start to the season so far they’ll really need this man to fill his boots.

CB: Gary Cahill

The experienced Englishman is undoubtedly the most valuable man to this defence, as the club captain it’s his job to get the side organized while displaying his defensive leadership qualities.

With a fully fit Gary Cahill, you’ll struggle to find a more established central defender.

CB: Antonio Rudiger

Recent German signing Rudiger has got to grips with the Premier League in no time at all as he provides the strength and burst of speed required in any well rounded Center back.

However, he needs to be at the top of his game to fend off any competition from Brazilian David Luiz, who seems to revel in the limelight.

LWB: Marcus Alonso

Arguably a shock signing when arriving at the club, the Spanish man has settled down at the Bridge as he provides a great crossing ability, combined with solidity in defence and popping up with 2 goals already this season.

One of the first names on the team sheet when it comes to an established Conte XI.

CM: N’Golo Kante

The forever energetic N’Golo Kante, who is arguably one of the best ball winning midfielders in the world, continues to impress. He is believed to be the human version of an English cold, you just can’t get rid of him.

This man would get the call for defensive duties in any teams XI.

CM: Cesc Fabregas

The Spanish playmaker plays balls through gaps that aren’t even visible to the human eye. His impeccable passing range and outstanding reading of the game puts him up there as one of the best creators in world football.

With the recent signing of Bakayoko, who is very similar in game to Kante, it is of importance that any successful team has a player like Cesc who can pull the strings.

RW: Willian

The speedy Brazilian has found it hard of recent to break into the side, but with the pace and trickery that he offers running at and drawing in defenders, this creates the space for partners Morata and Hazard to work their magic.

With competition from Spanish born Pedro this man just edges it going forward, as he gets my pick for the starting XI.

ST: Alvaro Morata

Having impressed at European giants Juventus and Real Madrid, the Spanish talisman brings the Chelsea front line an extra avenue with the ability to hold up the ball and provide pace running in behind but has arguably one of the best eyes for goal both with his feet and his head.

With Batshuayi waiting in the wings, and the talent in abundance that this man brings, it will be tough to knock this man off of top spot.

LW: Eden Hazard

You all knew it was coming, Belgian wizard Eden Hazard who is without a doubt one of the most prominent attacking outlets in world football. Providing Chelsea with; pace, goalscoring ability and exquisite playmaking abilities.

So for someone who makes an appearance in many players nightmares, this talent is always number one on the team sheet.
