The punters here at the Football Transfer Tavern love nothing more than seeing a player who has promise being snapped up and for them to do well.
One club who has been brilliant at doing that is Tottenham Hotspur, as they have managed to get the best out of rising stars such as Eric Dier and Christian Eriksen in recent years.
They have often recruited well and have managed to get some bargains and a league that is producing a lot of talent is the Bundesliga.
Kevin de Bruyne has proved that a player can come over from Germany and light up the Premier League and with Tottenham’s transfer strategy, the landlord can’t help but wonder who Spurs could go in to sign.
Here are the THREE suggestions for Bundesliga players that Tottenham Hotspur should try to sign. Do you agree with these picks and who do you think they should be going in for in the next transfer windows?
Thorgan Hazard

He may not have made it at Chelsea, but Hazard is starting to show that he is much more to the game than just Eden’s brother.
He showed just how deadly he can be when he bagged himself a hat trick against Young Boys in Champions League qualification to help Borussia Monchengladbach get to the group stages of the Champions League.
If Tottenham were to get him, it would be hard to bet against him doing well.
Max Meyer

Only 20-years-old, Max Meyer has already been in Germany’s first team and was also part of their silver medal winning Olympic side.
For a player so young he plays with a lot of maturity and is very composed and effective in the way that he plays.
He would easily to be able to slot into one of the positions behind the striker and cause mayhem if he was to move to Spurs.
He may command a bit of a higher fee than other talented youngsters, but investing in Meyer and his future could be a great investment for the club.
Julian Brandt

Another member of the Germany side that got silver at the Olympics, Julian Brandt is a player who exciting a lot of people in Germany and would suit Tottenham’s style of play.
One problem that Spurs sometimes have is that they are over reliant on Harry Kane for their goals, but Brandt would certainly be able to help with that, as last season he managed to score in six consecutive Bundesliga matches.
He is definitely the type of player that would be able to excite the club’s supporters.
