3 Liverpool outcasts that need to be axed or loaned out immediately

It seems the Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have got a bright season ahead of them with the recruitment policy Jurgen Klopp has installed at the club, with some top-notch acquisitions being rumoured.

The Reds look to be on the brink of adding quality to their ranks rather than numbers, which is pivotal for the five-time Champions League winners if they want to aim higher than just a top-four spot next campaign.

Our Liverpool-mad barman wants a major clear 0ut at Anfield in the coming months to properly prepare for life for a title challenge and I don’t think that’s a tall order to follow considering many members of the first-team aren’t seeing regular game time anyway.

The senior squad does have a number of fringe players who, admittedly, could be of substantial use to other clubs in the Premier League which is why they need to be gotten rid of as soon as possible.

So here are THREE Liverpool outcasts that should be axed or loaned out almost immediately….

Alberto Moreno

The 24-year-old Spaniard has fallen down Jurgen Klopp’s pecking order over the last twelve months having been at fault for the opening day visit to Arsenal in August for a number of their conceded goals.

He subsequently lost his spot as first-choice left-back, which was handed to James Milner, and went on to make a rather embarrassing number of just eighteen appearances in all competitions last term.

It wouldn’t surprise us in the Football Transfer Tavern if Alberto Moreno was to move on this summer; his potential has never been fulfilled and perhaps a switch to Spain is the best option for the defender.

Daniel Sturridge

Some may reckon Daniel Sturridge can still offer something amazing to this exciting project at Anfield, however, his inconsistency has been followed by regular and lengthy periods in the treatment room.

For a striker of his stature, the landlord thinks the 27-year-old could become a pivotal ingredient to another team’s front line and his days on Merseyside are numbered after a dismal campaign last time out.

Sturridge played in 20 top-flight outings during the 2016/17 season but had netted on a small three occasions, which is a simply embarrassing figure for the former England international.

Lazar Markovic

Since Lazar Markovic’s move to Liverpool three summers ago, the Serbian has really struggled to break into the first-team and that has resulted in loan spells in Turkey, Portugal and most recently Hull City.

The 23-year-old winger, predominately on the right, looks set to be heading out the exit door at Anfield during the summer transfer window which isn’t surprising considering he’s failed to impress elsewhere.

In my opinion, the Football Transfer Tavern would be least shocked out of the three for Markovic depart in the next few weeks as he will demand to settle down and kick start his career.

Liverpool supporters, would it be ideal to lose these three immediately? Is there any you would keep? Let us get your thoughts in the comment section below!
