Our landlord here in the Transfer Tavern likes to keep our punters well informed of all things going on in and around the footballing world.
With that in mind, despite their magnitude, he’s been kind enough to shed some light on a giant who lay north of the border in Celtic.
We saw them involved in a thrilling encounter not long ago as they drew 3-3 with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and the standout star was Moussa Dembele.
The Frenchman’s form is one of many things Brendan Rodgers has enjoyed since his arrival in Scotland.
We would like to turn your attention to some of the players who are currently playing for Celtic who maybe are lucky to even be in the roster, and for sure the club should be looking to sell on.
So, with that being said, here are the THREE Celtic players that really should have been sold by now….
Efe Ambrose

The unreliable Nigerian has been frozen out by Rodgers and rightly so we feel here at the transfer tavern.
Since his arrival to Scottish football he has been a liability and has found himself sent off in important games and at fault for a number of silly mistakes.
With Rodgers shaking things up at the back he was even left out of their Champions League squad- he should be looking to move on in the not so distant future.
Emilio Izaguirre

When the 30-year-old Honduran arrived at Celtic he was a hit and he was a great player for sure.
Still, since the breakthrough of young Kieran Tierney at Celtic he has found his playing time very limited and for that we feel he must move on.
The experienced defender would be great for a number of Championship clubs or perhaps a move to the MLS but he is wasting both his and the clubs time sitting on the bench at the Hoops.
Kris Commons

The 33-year-old midfielder was a key player under previous managers and even won multiple awards at the club.
Since the arrival of Rodgers, he hasn’t even featured and it is looking more and more likely his tenure at Celtic will soon come to an end.
Despite his age, he still has a lot of quality left to offer and club that’d bring him in.
He is of little use to the Hoops anymore considering the amount of younger quality they have in his position such as Tom Rogic and Patrick Roberts.
