Arsenal are struggling to keep pace at the top of the Premier League table and, for their supporters here in the Tavern, it seems to be the same old story under Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners have dropped out of the top four after the win by bitter rivals Tottenham and draw from Liverpool this week and pressure really is mounting once again on the shoulders of Le Prof.
Whilst their Premier League rivals continue to win games at an alarming rate, results are slowing down for the north London giants at an extremely crucial time indeed.
But one thing that has dominated chat in recent weeks is the future of Alexis Sanchez, who cut an extremely frustrated figure after the 3-3 draw with Bournemouth earlier this month.
The Chilean superstar’s contract is due to run out next summer and his hesitancy to sign a new deal has the Arsenal fans in the tavern concerned at his non-committed attitude.
But there are plenty who think the striker would be better off staying at the Emirates and leading Arsenal into the next chapter of their history.

Not for a long time in north London have we seen a player adored so much by the Arsenal supporters than Alexis Sanchez.
He’s a player who is heavily relied on for goals, creativity and at times, the spark needed to win big games.
It’s clear that the Chilean is the man who this team continues to be built around and if he thinks he’s going to be more popular anywhere else in the world as he is at the Emirates, then he should probably think again.
He’s playing well in the best division in the world
Say what you like, 13 goals in the first-half of the season still represents a good return for a player who has high aspirations of helping his side to some silverware come the end of the campaign.
If he were to leave the club, he’s unlikely to play as well as he has done at the Emirates over the past couple of years and he could really do with continuing at the peak of his career in a team looking to break back into the top four.
Putting a handful of wins together will see the Gunners move back to where they need to be and hopefully then, the worriers might lay off just a little.
Arsenal made him a superstar
Granted, Alexis Sanchez was an extremely good player during his time with Barcelona but it’s his time in England with Arsenal that has really turned him into the player he is today.
His movement, ability to score and all round capabilities have all been crafted at the Emirates by Arsene Wenger and his coaches and for that.
