Two giants of English football renew their old rivalry this weekend when Manchester United welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford, with the Transfer Tavern’s punters already relishing the contest.
The regulars have already arrived in the Tavern nice and early to get settled in their favourite spots ready for the big game.
The two sides shared the spoils last season, with the Gunners running out 3-0 winners at the Emirates Stadium, whilst United were 3-2 victors when the mammoths of English football met at Old Trafford.
One of the Manchester United supporting punters here in the Tavern is eagerly anticipating the game and is knocking back the gin and tonic to try and calm his nerves.
He thinks that United will have the edge given that they hold home advantage and he can’t wait for the game to start.

Manchester United have struggled this season but there was enough in their 3-1 win over Swansea City to suggest that they are set for a big performance against a good side soon.
Arsenal could be in the firing line this weekend and the Gunners will know that anything less than their top game is likely to see them come undone.
United have far too much quality to keep picking up below-par results and they will look to send out a proper message to the rest of the division this weekend.
Individual quality to prevail
Although Arsenal are blessed with some quality players themselves, United will feel that they have the individual talent to win the day this weekend.
The likes of Paul Pogba and David de Gea will be massive for the Red Devils on Saturday and all three look to be hitting form at the right stage of the season.

Mourinho v Wenger
Whilst Gunners boss Arsene Wenger tends to maintain his professionalism when it comes to Jose Mourinho, the same cannot be said the other way around.
The Portuguese boss genuinely seems to dislike his counterpart from Arsenal and he would love to get another win over the French boss.
