West Ham United haven’t had the greatest start to the season by any stretch of the imagination and it’s safe to say their supporters here in the pub are a little concerned.
But their worries would have been lessened a little by a huge result against Crystal Palace last weekend, where they won 1-0 away from home to give them only their second win of the season.
Now, following the recent win over Sunderland, good times are once again rolling in east London.
The Hammers have a huge run of games coming up, in a spell that could truly define their season going forward.
But what’s been clearer than anything is that the Hammers need to invest in some quality come January. Even the landlord in the pub hasn’t been impressed by what he’s seen from the Hammers at times this season and he’s normally quite an easy man to please!
And in this article, we want to take a look at a handful of Spanish players that would add some much-needed quality to the Irons’ ranks.
So with that in mind, here’s 3 Spaniards that could realistically move to the Olympic Stadium…
Ayoze Perez

It’s been fantastic to see Ayoze Perez having a really strong season at Newcastle after spending a couple of years in the shadows.
Before Rafa Benitez moved to St James’ Park, he was having to settle for a place on the bench on many an occasion as pretty poor players were given starts more frequently.
But with more of the deadwood now out of the club, Perez is beginning to shine and he’d be a fantastic signing to add that little bit of quality the likes of Zaza really aren’t providing up top.
Iago Aspas

Liverpool flop Iago Aspas is back at Celta Vigo in La Liga after a poor spell at Anfield, and it’s safe to say he’s really showing Reds supporters what they are missing out on.
He banged in an impressive 18 goals last season and has started brightly again this campaign, with Celta sitting 12th in the La Liga table.
Again, he’s a player that has really found some form after a difficult spell and we think he’d be a cracking little addition to this West Ham side.
Iago Falque

Former Spurs youngster Iago Falque is currently with Italian side Torino, on a season-long loan deal from Roma.
Like many that have come before him, he didn’t quite make the grade at the Olympic Stadium and he’s hoping a loan deal at Torino will help reignite his career going forward.
But the chances of him breaking back into the Roma squad are a little slim and after his deal with Torino is up, it wouldn’t be a bad shout in the slightest if West Ham made a move.
He was a player that was once tipped for the top – he just needs a permanent base with a manager that really believes in what he does.
