Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic outfit have been a joy to behold in this year’s Scottish Premier League, much to the delight of their loyal supporters who can regularly be found boozing here in the Transfer Tavern.
The former Liverpool boss has been a breath of fresh air and after breaking a long standing unbeaten run last month, the landlord opted to name one of his real ale’s after the current Hoops boss.
It went down a treat with the regulars and Celtic supporters in particular, who paid homage to their manager with a series of boozy nights supping the ale.
Winning the league doesn’t take a great deal of effort for the Glaswegian giants and next Rodgers will be looking to conquer European football, which will require a better squad.
Lee Clarke looks at three summer signings who Celtic should be looking at already.
Mamadou Sakho

Brendan Rodgers could make a real statement of intent by securing the services of the French defender from Liverpool and the lure of Champions League football could be tempting.
Sakho joined Crystal Palace on loan on transfer deadline day but it seems unlikely that he will remain in London following the end of this season.
One Celtic fan is sat enjoying a pint in the Tavern and he thinks that the big defender would certainly be an upgrade on the Hoops’ current defenders.
Tammy Abraham

The lanky striker has been scoring goals for fun in the Championship with Bristol City and Celtic should pull out all the stops to secure his services next season.
Tempting Abraham’s parent club Chelsea into a sale could prove tricky, although a season-long loan could suit all parties.
One Celtic supporter is sat in the Tavern playing a game of dominos with his pals and he thinks that Abraham would score goals for fun north of the border, stating that the club should definitely try and sign him in the summer.
Joe Ledley

The former Celtic midfielder is out of favour with Crystal Palace and a romantic return back to Celtic Park could be on the cards.
The 30-year-old still has a lot of football left in him and he would relish the chance to return to a club so close to his heart.
A couple of Celtic fans have gathered in the smoking area in the Tavern and they are all in agreement that Ledley would be a quality signing for the club.
