The biggest game of the Premier League weekend this time out simply has to be Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool on Saturday night.

A classic top-flight encounter, these two giants of the English game have slogged it out between each other on many occasions with often spectacular results as a by-product.

Indeed, only this season in the opening game did we see them play out a cracking 4-3 with Liverpool taking the spoils and so Arsene Wenger and his men must have their eyes on revenge for that.

Indeed, with Liverpool ailing after losing to Leicester they are there for the taking and, potentially, a win for the Gunners could knock the Reds out of top four contention.

The men from the Emirates are fresh after having no game last weekend and so, with that in mind, our landlord reckons they can get the three points – providing they go with this line-up…

GK: Petr Cech

Cech may not be at his peak anymore but he’s still a class option to have between the sticks. He could be the difference in this one.

RB: Hector Bellerin

The Spanish full-back will raid forward and could give James Milner a torrid time if he is on top of his game.

CB: Laurent Koscielny

The French defender is tough and go in terms of fitness but our landlord reckons he should be available – much to Arsenal’s advantage.

CB: Shkodran Mustafi

The German centre-half has been a good signing and he will be key in keeping the Reds’ attack quiet for the duration of the match.

LB: Nacho Monreal

The Spanish left-back can sometimes have poor performances in the big games and so he’ll need to ensure that doesn’t happen here.

CDM: Francis Coquelin

Coquelin is Arsenal’s most reliable deep lying player at the moment and he will surely start.

CDM: Granit Xhaka

Xhaka, meanwhile, has been a liability at times and if his discipline goes wayward he’ll surely cost his team the game.

RAM: Theo Walcott

Walcott has the pace to cause Milner problems along with Bellerin and so he should be eager to get on the ball as much as possible.

CAM: Alexis Sanchez

With Mesut Ozil potentially still out, Alexis Sanchez could operate here in a more deeper role. He could cause havoc if he’s not picked up properly, too.

LAM: Alex Iwobi

Iwobi may get the nod over Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and, in that case, he’ll need to prove himself in one of the biggest games of the season.

ST: Olivier Giroud

With Sanchez in Ozil’s role and Lucas Perez also a fitness issue, Olivier Giroud should start. He’s done well against Liverpool before and will be confident of doing so again.
