There’s one of the biggest games of the season on the horizon this weekend as Tottenham and Arsenal come together at White Hart Lane and their fans lining the bar here in the pub are seriously excited about the match ahead!

Spurs need to ensure they need to keep the pace with title-chasers Chelsea all the way until the end of the campaign and our Spurs-mad barman wants to see his side push the Blues all the way until the end of the season, even if they don’t overcome them.

But it’s set to be a massive game for Arsenal too this weekend, who are still chasing Champions League football, despite the other sides around them somewhat leading the race for the top-four.

But after some talking with our Arsenal fans here in the bar, we’ve had some advice as to what team Wenger should start for the crunch tie this weekend and we’ve come to a conclusion.

So with that in mind, here’s the lineup Wenger really should be starting to shock Spurs this weekend…

Petr Cech

No doubting this one in the slightest.

Petr Cech is the number one at Arsenal and that’s the way it’s going to stay for the foreseeable future. He’ll need to be in good form to keep on-fire Spurs out though.

RB: Hector Bellerin

Started on the bench for the game against City but we’re expecting Wenger to revert back to a four-back defence for the huge trip to White Hart Lane this weekend.

Bellerin is one of the most popular players amongst supporters here in the bar, with his electric pace and forward-thinking a real positive in this side.

CB: Rob Holding

With Laurent Koscielny out injured, this is a big game for Rob Holding. The 20-year-old has been impressive of late in a back three and his performance at Wembley should excite Gunners fans around the world.

CB: Gabriel

At times, Brazilian centre-back Gabriel was a little rash during the match against City but he put in a good enough shift to get into our XI for the game against Spurs this weekend.

He might be the man to man-mark Harry Kane out of the match, with his aggression and often hot-temper sometimes being useful in the bigger games to really rile opponents up.

LB: Nacho Monreal

Barring Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, there were few players on the Wembley pitch that had a better afternoon than Nacho Monreal, who was absolutely superb for his side all game.

Crosses, defending, goals- he did it all this weekend and if he plays that way against Spurs, the Gunners might get a result.

CDM: Granit Xhaka

Granit Xhaka put in a real shift at Wembley and he could be the key in the middle-of-the-park to breaking up that so effective Spurs duo of Victor Wanyama and Moussa Dembele.

He needs to get amongst the Spurs duo if his side are to have any success but he needs to keep his head too. He’ll be useless if he’s not even on the pitch.

CDM: Aaron Ramsey

It was a good afternoon for Aaron Ramsey in the FA Cup semi-final and he’s a player that really needs to step up over the next couple of weeks to prove to the Gunners faithful here in the bar that he’s the man to lead the team forward.

It’s not been the best season from the Welshman but helping his side to a win over Spurs could be massive for him.

RM: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain turned in a huge shift against Manchester City and our Gunners faithful here in the pub are expecting another huge performance from him this weekend.

Finally, we saw a glimpse of the player that they signed a few years back and he needs to start putting in the shifts from now until the end of the season.

CAM: Mesut Ozil

German international Mesut Ozil had a quiet afternoon against City in the FA Cup semi-final and Gunners fans will be looking for more from him in the game against Spurs.

He has the potential to really hurt Arsenal’s bitter rivals this weekend but he needs to really step up to show his best once again.

LM: Theo Walcott

Theo Walcott hasn’t seen a lot of game-time in recent weeks but after Olivier Giroud’s disappointing showing against City, we want to change things up and bring Theo Walcott into the side for this one.

The speedster has a lot of making up to do over the next couple of weeks to show the Arsenal punters here in the pub that he’s the man to take the team forward long-term.

ST: Alexis Sanchez

Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez was the difference in the game against Manchester City and he’ll have a huge part to play in the match against Spurs this weekend.

His pace, agility and strength in the forward line will be massively important in a game Arsenal have to win. Expect a monster showing from the forward this weekend.
