4 Chelsea wonderkids that Tottenham must seriously look to sign this summer – Agreed?

Tottenham are in need of a good summer transfer window if they are to build on the successes of last season.

The likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and the Manchester clubs are all spending big to ensure that they put their recent failures behind them, and can press on with a title challenge.

Tottenham are desperate to remain a part of that club and doing so is not out of reach but a tough ask.

They will have to add quality to their side but without ruining the bond and drive of their young, hungry side.

This is where shrewd recruitment comes in, they will need to find players with similar mentality.

Spurs have a young core to their team and would do well to add to that and one direction they could look is Chelsea, a team with more youth players than you can shake a stick at, whatever that means.

With that in mind those inside the Transfer Tavern have narrowed down Chelsea’s never ending youth ranks to FOUR wonderkids Spurs should sign this summer…..

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Loftus-Cheek made a real entrance to Premier-League football last season, and will be a tough one to strike a deal on but the midfielder would be more than worth it.

If last season was anything to go by, given a few years under a manager who loves to work with youth in Pochettino and Loftus-Cheek will be one of the best in the league and would look more than at home in a side going for the title.

Bertrand Traore

Traore is primed and ready for first team, Premier League, action. The 20-year-old profited from a loan spell at Vitesse and even forced his way into the Chelsea side towards the end of last season.

With Spurs looking to fight hard on all fronts next season they will need someone in form leading the line at all times, and Harry Kane cannot do that for 50 plus games in a season.

Traore would be the perfect competition or partner for last seasons top scorer.

Kenedy

Another area where Spurs need to add quality depth for the season ahead is the wings.

They have adept wide men in Lamela and Eriksen but nothing too spectacular beyond that.

This is where Kenedy could be a real asset, he has made 13 apperances for Chelsea since joining last summer and looks to be something special.

The addition of another winger with pace and flair would make Spurs attacking options something to frighten any defence next season.

Mario Pasalic

A bit more of a dark horse this one but nonetheless just as promising.

Given the right guidance the Croatian midfielder could develop to be just as instrumental as his fellow countryman and former Spurs star, Luka Modric.

He has drawn comparisons to Real Madrid’s box-to-box midfielder but he is a much more powerful presence on the pitch than the technically gifted Modric, though not being as technically masterful as Modric at the age of 20 is not a limitation.
