Our landlord at the Transfer Tavern was having a quiet day when a group of Gunners fans bundled through the Tavern’s doors talking about the lack of activity during last months transfer window.
Arsenal are currently third in the Premier league table on 51 points, two points behind shock leaders Leicester City, who they defeated 2-1 at The Emirates last weekend.
Our landlord spied an opportunity with the Arsenal fans being in the Tavern, he decided to ask them about who they would like to see sign for The Gunners from La Liga.
The obvious candidates were Messi, Neymar and Ronaldo but after some thought our resident Arsenal fans put a little more thought into players in La Liga. They came up with an interesting list of stars they would like to see at Arsenal try and bring into The Emirates.
Here is what they told our Transfer tavern Landlord about which five La Liga stars arsenal should try and sign this summer.

Luis Suarez

Arsene Wenger has long admired the Barcelona striker having tried, and failed, to sign him from Liverpool before the Uruguayan moved to Spain in 2014.
The 29-year-old may be wary of making a return to The Premier league but if there is one club that would suit him, it would be the Gunners due to their style of play.
Getting Suarez out of The Nou Camp will mean that Arsene Wenger would have to actually spend some of the money being hoarded at Arsenal.
Inaki Williams

A host of Premier League clubs are interested in signing Athletic Bilbao young starlet after an impressive start to his career in La Liga.
Liverpool, both Manchester clubs and Tottenham all are reported to have made inquires about the fastest player in La Liga.
With such interest in their top star Athletic Bilbao handed him anew contract with a £50 million release clause.
Nolito

Celta Vigo’s left wing star has attracted the attention of the Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger with eight goals and five assists in fifteen La Liga matches this season
Arsenal were reported to have made a move in January but no official conformation has come from the club and it would be more likely they will attempt to bring him in during the summer.
Grzegorz Krychowiak

The midfielder has been tracked by Arsenal manager for a long time now having kept tabs on him since he was an unknown in French side Reims.
Sevilla’s £30million rated midfield enforcer could be the answer to Arsenal’s problems when it comes to the more physical side of the game- a problem they have not really solved since Vieira left the Gunners.
Krychowiak has been collecting trophies and was in La Liga’s team of the season last term and looks set to be in it again this season.
Toni Kroos

Real Madrid German international player has always been linked with Premier League clubs for a number of season’s. With the new television money coming into the top flight of English football this summer, transfer activity promises to be the biggest and busiest so far.
Kroos would fit into the Gunners starting line up and style of play with ease whilst providing that extra bit of midfield protection for the back four.
Arsenal could do a lot worse and will have the financial clout to land the player if they are prepared to use it.
