Chelsea supporting punters here inside the Football Transfer Tavern were delighted to see the club claw back a 2-0 deficit, to draw 2-2 with Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
With the season all but over for the Blues, talk has naturally turned to the summer and the players that Conte could sign for the club – to ultimately make them the force they once were in English football.
Several players are expected to depart Stamford Bridge as the Italian manager looks to reshape the Blues’ line-up and make them title challengers again.

Antoine Griezmann

Currently plying his trade for La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid, Antoine Griezmann is reportedly at the top of Chelsea’s preferred transfer targets.
The 25-year old has claimed an impressive 20 goals and 5 assists in the league this term, guiding Atletico to joint top of the Spanish first tier table and to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
With several Chelsea strikers expected to depart this summer, the Frenchman would be the ideal replacement.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Another attacking player who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is Borussia Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The goal-scoring midfielder has netted an impressive 19 goals in all competitions this term for the German giants, whilst providing a staggering 22 assists.
The 27-year old would be a deadly addition to the Blues’ attack and could thrive under Conte.
Radja Nainggolan

Central midfield is clearly an area that Conte is keen to improve, with numerous players linked, and one of those is Roma star Radja Nainggolan.
The 27-year old is an experienced and resolute midfielder, providing defensive reassurance and enabling his teammates to attack, although he has also chipped in himself when needed, with 5 goals in the Serie A this season.
His pressing and work rate would make him a perfect candidate to play under Conte.
Arturo Vidal

Another central midfielder who could make the move to Chelsea at the end of the season is Bayern Munich ace Arturo Vidal.
Having been previously linked with a move to Chelsea’s rivals Manchester United, the 28-year old has been a mainstay in Pep Guardiola’s side, making 29 league appearances so far this season.
With 4 goals and 5 assists in the league, the Chilean is another player who would be useful to have in the centre of the park, both offensively and defensively.
Leonardo Bonucci

With a couple of defenders set to get the cut with Conte’s arrival, he will be looking to bring in some quality replacements.
One name that has been touted with a possible move is Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci, who would be reunited with former manager Conte if a deal was reached.
The 28-year old is an extremely experienced defender, making 33 league appearances for Juve this season, and would also offer an aerial threat from set pieces.
