The Transfer Tavern landlord is hearing all sorts of rumours about players on the move in the summer for various different reasons.
There are many rumours surrounding the Chelsea players this season with much talk about the need to rebuild, after what is a very disappointing season for the English champions.
Diego Costa is one such player where the speculation is rife that he wants to return to Spain. Last year he was phenomenal for Chelsea as they won the Premier League, yet this season he look a shadow of the player who won Chelsea the title and looks set to move out of Stamford Bridge.
Our landlord at The Transfer Tavern has heard much speculation about the Chelsea striker leaving. However, that leaves the question who will replace Costa at Stamford Bridge should the Spaniard leave in the summer.

Robert Lewandowski
Bayern Munich forward has been linked with every major European football power this summer. He could be persuaded to leave Germany now that Pep Guardiola is on his way to England.
Chelsea have made no secret that they would welcome the forward and if Guus Hiddink can perform a minor miracle and drag Chelsea into the Champions League places, then anything is possible.
They can offer the prolific forward an opportunity to come to play in the Premier League. 19 Goals in 18 matches is Lewandowski’s record this year, a tremendous effort.
Antoine Griezmann
The French forward is plying his trade at Atletico Madrid, where his performances have been superb for the Spanish side.
That has caught not only Chelsea’s eye but many other European clubs and getting the player away from Madrid will take a bid in excess of £60m.
The 24-year-old French international has scored 16 goals in La Liga this term and has been linked with Stamford Bridge since his days at Real Sociedad.
Jonathan Calleri
The Argentine striker has been setting South America alight with his outstanding displays and goals this season.
Inter Milan have joined Chelsea in tracking the forward and both clubs will fight it out to sign the young striker in the summer.
The 22-year-old has draw comparison with team mate Carlos Tevez, having scored ten goals in Argentina’s Primera Division.
Harry Kane
Tottenham forward would fit in perfectly into the Chelsea front line and would not need to adjust to life in The Premier League. 15 goals this season has got him in contention for the Golden boot award this year and adds to his record last term.
However, Chelsea would need to pay a staggering amount of money to get Kane from London rivals Spurs and the fact that the North London side are more likely to earn Champions League football for next season.
Gonzalo Higuain
The Napoli forward has been key in reviving the Italian clubs fortunes and has fired them to the top of Serie A.
The forward has scored 23 goals for the Italian side in 23 games making him hot property in Europe.
Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly making summer moves for the forward, it could make for an interesting summer transfer window.
