Barcelona are again showing why they are regarded as the best side in Europe. They are again well placed, and indeed look very likely to record another La Liga success this season as well as continued progress in the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
Over recent seasons, they have made some top signings from the Premier League including the £75 million transfer of Luis Suarez from Liverpool in 2014, as well as signing the likes of Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas and Gerard Pique.
They are again being linked with a move for a number of the Premier League’s stars and here we look at 5 that they could make a move for.

Juan Cuadrado

Cuadrado can’t really be described as a Premier League star but technically he is still a Chelsea player, albeit on loan at Juventus. He made a big money move to Stamford Bridge, though, in 2015 for a reported initial fee of £23 million but he has so far made only 13 Premier League appearances.
He has spent all of this season on loan at Juventus but could still find himself a regular at Stamford Bridge next season under yet another new manager.
Barcelona, though, are extremely interested and have already expressed their interest so this move could happen this summer.
Aaron Ramsey

It is perhaps an indication of how far Ramsey has come in recent seasons that he is being mentioned in the same breath as Barcelona. He has been a key part of Arsene Wenger’s side this season, making 25 Premier League appearances and scoring five times.
He scored the winning goal in the 2014 FA Cup final that secured the Gunners first trophy in a decade and has been a consistent performer ever since.
Any potential move would be a massive blow to the Gunners who will be determined to keep hold of the Welshman but Barcelona have picked off players from Arsenal in the past and Wenger would be very wary if they came calling again.
Riyad Mahrez

12 months ago, how many people really expected that Riyad Mahrez would be a target of Barcelona. This one could really happen, though, and it is being reported in several outlets that Barca boss Luis Enrique is watching him very closely after his performances this season.
He has been an integral part of Leicester’s continued challenge for the title and he is in with a great chance of being awarded the Player of the Season award at the end of this campaign, and that would see several top clubs interested, with Barca in pole position.
Eden Hazard

It is looking likely that Hazard’s time at Stamford Bridge could be drawing to a close. His performances this season have been far below the standard he has set himself over recent years and he has come under further fire after swapping shirts at half-time of their recent Champions League defeat to PSG.
At 25 years old, he still has plenty of years ahead of him and a change in culture now seems inevitable for Hazard who appears to be bored now at Chelsea. Playing at Barcelona would bring out the best in him, and we have all seen that that is a very dangerous thing for his opposition.
Mesut Ozil

One of the best players in the Premier League over the last couple of seasons, could Mesut Ozil be on his way back to Spain? One thing that could potentially stand in the way of this move is his time with Barca’s fierce rivals Real Madrid.
However, his performances in the last couple of seasons cannot be ignored, especially this season where he has assisted goals in almost every game.
He also still has plenty to give and Arsenal would be reluctant to sell to Barca having lost players to the Catalan giants in the past but a big money bid is likely to force the Gunners’ hand as they would find it difficult to turn down a big bid; but they would undoubtedly want a decent return on the £42 million they spent on the German in 2013.
