Graziano Pelle

Graziano Pelle

The Italian forward has been outstanding since signing for the south coast club last summer from Dutch side Feyenoord.

There was speculation during January that there were several premier League clubs interested in his signature but Southampton’s valuation was too high at that time.

The Italian has scored eleven goals so far this season in an up and down campaign for The Saints. His performances may tempt a few other Premier League clubs to try and take him away from the South Coast.

Sadio Mane

maneeeee

The 23-year-old from Senegal has impressed since joining back in 2014 from German side Salzburg, for just under £12million.

Mane has netted seven goals this season and has become a firm favourite at St Mary’s stadium.

Although the goals have dried up of late, his form so far has attracted the attention of several clubs with Liverpool being the latest side to be linked with the forward.

Will they be tempted to make a firm offer in the summer? It’s likely.

Virgil Van Dijk

Celtic v Partick Thistle - Scottish Premiership

Many clubs in the Premier League and across Europe have trouble in their back line, as the art of defending has become less fashionable.

Here at Southampton they have a top quality defender, good in the air , decisive, calm under pressure and makes very few bad decisions during the game.

All key ingredients that teams in all leagues look for in a defender, but end up settling for a couple of the attributes instead of the full package. Therefore, Van Dijk could be a top target for many this summer.

Victor Wanyama

Wanyama

Many Saint’s fans consider this fella the real star of the team, as the defensive midfielder has all the makings of truly world class player- if he continues to progress in the same fashion.

The Kenyan has made 27 appearances this season and was particularly impressive in the matches against Manchester United and Arsenal, keeping control of the midfield and using the ball exceptionally well.

Southampton will do well to keep hold of this talented player with some of Europe’s big clubs circling around.

Ryan Bertrand

Ryan Bertrand

Capped by England, the left back has flourished at Southampton with regular first team football. So much so that now Bertrand has almost become default to be England’s first choice left back.

With Shaw out injured and Baines only just recovering from injury, we may enter the up coming European championships with the 26 year old as our nations first choice left back.

With such recognition, interest from other clubs is of course natural and Liverpool have been linked with the player, as have a few other Premier League sides.

Southampton may have another tough battle to keep hold of the 26 year old.
