For Chelsea supporters in the Football Transfer Tavern it has been a day of reflection after yesterday’s embarrassing 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa.
The Blues finished with nine men with manager Jose Mourinho being sent to the stands during a day to forget at Villa Park.
The Blues have let their lead at the top slip with both Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal winning although Jose Mourinho’s side are still in pole position.
This week sees the second leg of the Champions League tie against Galatasaray as Didier Drobga makes an emotional return to Stamford Bridge.
With the possibility of a double still on the cards, we reckon that the Blues should be very content with Jose Mourinho’s first season back in charge.
