According to a report by Mundo Deportivo, via West Ham News, the club have submitted a loan bid to snap up defender Junior Firpo on loan from Barcelona until the end of the season – prompting many Irons to buzz as they could land a ‘perfect‘ signing.
Firpo, who has played just 29 minutes of La Liga action all season, largely being left out by Barcelona, could now leave the Nou Camp on loan in a bid to secure game time.

This report claims the Catalan giants are open to letting him leave in January, with West Ham apparently already registering their intent and dropping a bid.
As a result of this news, many Irons have buzzed – going on to beg GSB for his signature as the club aim to keep up their fine run in and around the top six of the Premier League.

As I’ve said before, I watch a lot of Barcelona, whenever I see him play he usually has a lot of aggression (similar to Coufal). Definitely someone we need on that left flank.
Also loved him at Betis.
I’m taking this all day long, it’s a position we need to strengthen, especially when playing a back 4, saying that Cresswell hasn’t been that bad the last two games.
