Never underestimate the power of the internet.
Following Darren Bent’s four letter tirade on Twitter at Daniel Levy for drawing out his transfer to Sunderland, Hull player Jozy Altidore has used the social networking site to persuade starlet Freddy Adu to join Hull.
Speaking on Twitter Adu said:
“Hull or Aris? Man, decisions. I have some tough decisions to make. I have a pretty good idea about what I want to do because it’s about playing time and my development.”
To which Altidore replied:
“Come to Hull bro!”
Adu was being touted as a future star when he was younger and held a trial at Manchester United but more recently has seen his career stall following a move to Benfica. Having been sent on loan to Monaco and more recently Belenenses he has returned to the Portuguese club where he finds himself out of the first team picture.

Adu could do with a fresh move to rejuvenate his career, he is in danger of fading into obscurity.
