Many Arsenal fans have torn into Granit Xhaka after Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Watford yesterday afternoon.
The captain played 90 minutes at Vicarage Road as the Hornets overcame a 2-0 deficit to share the spoils.
Watford were 2-0 down at the break, however, a strong second-half performance shocked Arsenal and the home side may even feel unfortunate not to take all three points, considering that they had 31 shots to Arsenal’s seven – a club record for Watford in the Premier League, according to the BBC.
Arsenal fans weren’t happy with the Swiss midfielder despite WhoScored’s algorithm scoring him a decent 7/10 for the match – comfortably the highest within the Arsenal midfield.
Xhaka has played in every game but one this season for the Gunners, averaging 6.78 on WhoScored for the campaign.
